Cubbon Road cycle track to be opened by October-end

Just wait for the end of October, and you can cycle along the track in Cubbon Road, as work is progressing smoothly.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike(BBMP) is currently busy with cycle track work along Cubbon Road to Cubbon ParkCircle and Manipal Centre Circle (2 km).

Work began in May and is now 70 per cent done. Work along the stretch was to begin in November 2017, but there was a delay as the Palike had to await permission from the Defence authority as the track is coming up near the Defence campus.

Along with bicycle track, the BBMP also wants to micro surface Cubbon Road for which it has already issued a work order to a company at the cost of Rs 1 crore to take up work along a 2-km stretch
