The Elephant Training Centre at Konni is around 11 km away from Pathanamthitta. The centre has numerous wood cages that have been built for keeping elephants. These cages, also known as 'Aanakoodu' in the local language, are strong enough to keep around 3 to 4 elephants at a time.
