He received his medical degree from Government medical college Kottayam. He completed his MS General Surgery from prestigious All India Institute of Medical Science New Delhi.
He got MRCS from Edinburgh UK. He received his MCh Neurosurgery from Post graduate institute of medical education and research Chandigarh. Throughout his medical education he got opportunity to get training from prestigious central government institutes of India with fellowships.
