OET, as the name suggests, is a specialized test for professionals in the healthcare industry to certain regions like Australia, New-Zealand, and the UK. OET is preferable because it is designed for testing the English language only needed for the healthcare professionals which makes it easier than compared to other language tests

OET tests the professional's capability of dealing with an English speaking person's healthcare in steps like taking consultation, writing notes, etc. While other tests concentrate on the score points, OET just presents with grades.
