Grihasree Housing Scheme (for EWS & LIG Category)

Grihasree Housing Scheme is being implemented by the Kerala State HBoard from 2013-14 onwards for providing Government subsidy @ Rs. 2 lakh/house for the construction of the house with the participation of NGO / Voluntary agencies / Philanthropic individuals in 2 cents / 3 cents of land owned by EWS / LIG beneficiaries. As per the approved financial pattern, for constructing a 60 sq m house with a construction cost of Rs. 4 Lakh, Rs.2 Lakh is the Govt. Subsidy and Rs.1 Lakh each will be the beneficiary’s and sponsor’s contribution. So far we have sponsored 110 houses under the scheme.
