The focus area of Partage is children’s development. As they search for the backwardness of some children they find that these children do not have the basic infrastructure facilities for their concentrated learning. Partage identified most deserving 400 families of the sponsored children, who were living in huts and shanties without any facility conducive to their studies, and without water and sanitary facilities. Thus they supported these 400 families to construct a decent house with toilet facilities and public water connection. Cost of construction for one house was Rs.3,00,000/- to Rs.7,00,000/- depending upon the terrain and the facilities required for the family.
Partage further identified 700 damaged houses. They supported 400 most deserving families and supported with Rs.50,000/- to Rs.3,00,000/- each based on the gravity of the damage.
