SHGs

SHGs are the platforms for the promotion of collectives, social and political empowerment, education and awareness; building and gender sensitization. SHG as a source of local credits supports women-run businesses bringing economic sustainability. Women have been organized into community-based organizations and federation groups as SHGs, to create a social force to confront the forces that hinder them to march ahead. The women collectives are making momentum to create a better status and power relations in the society.
