B.Sc Psychology

Undergraduate programme in psychology a strong basic foundation for the aspirants of psychology. It is a choice based credit and semester programme of Mahatma Gandhi University.The curriculum is designed in such a way that both theory and practical are to be taught in six semesters.The complementary course for the programme are Body system and Behaviour,Biological Basis of Behaviour and Psychological Statistics. An important aim of programme is to provide student a strong theretical foundation in psychology. The core paper taught in the UG programme are Foundations and Methods of Psychology,Basic Cognitive Processes,Social Psychology,Developmental Psychology, Counselling Psychology,Organization Behaviour,Clinical Psychology and Experimental Psychology. Additional to the curriculum programme,students are given training in research and school counselling. Modern technological assistance is used in pedagogy.
