About Dr. Anant Kumar Tiwari

Dr. Anant Tiwari completed his graduation with honours from Maharani Laxmi Medical College, Jhansi, in 1992 and topped the postgraduate medical entrance examination from his college. He went on to pursue post-graduation in Orthopaedics at Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College, Kanpur, completing it in 1996 with a specialization in the Ilizarov technique. During this period, he developed exceptional expertise in limb lengthening, severe deformity correction, and a wide range of general orthopaedic procedures.

Following his post-graduation, Dr. Tiwari joined Nazareth Hospital, Allahabad, as the Head of the Department of Orthopaedics. Over the next twelve years, he performed a vast number of orthopaedic and spine surgeries, gaining extensive clinical and surgical experience. His leadership and surgical precision played a key role in advancing orthopaedic care at the hospital.

In 2003, Dr. Anant Tiwari achieved a significant milestone by successfully performing his first independent Total Hip Replacement and Total Elbow Replacement at Nazareth Hospital. With this accomplishment, he became the first surgeon in Allahabad to carry out these advanced procedures, further establishing his reputation as a highly skilled and pioneering orthopaedic surgeon.
