NFC is a technology similar to Bluetooth. You might see it on your phone or even in your settings. What is NFC? What are the benefits of NFC? Let’s dive deeply through this.

As mentioned in the name itself, through a small distance gap, communication is made possible. This is made so fast and easily. You can check-in details, whether there is NFC provision on your phone. NFC is enabled in all-flash chip devices.

NFC mainly applicable in Digital payment transactions. Suppose you are doing payment during purchase via card there are certain procedures such as card swiping, pin entering etc. But if you are opting NFC technology for this you can achieve it so easily. Just swipe up your NFC-enabled phone and add your virtual card. Add your debit card also. Then verify your fingerprint. Then your phone will be enabled for payment.

After that by placing one's phone just above the swipe machine, both can virtually contact via NFC enabling smooth payment. In the absence of a card in your hand, you can do payment with the help of the phone itself. Applications that are used for this service are Android Pay / Apple Pay/Samsung Pay etc.

Data sharing is the next main feature associated with NFC. For example, using this one can share images from one phone’s gallery to the next phone. NFC chipset is another interesting feature. Different types of NFC stickers are available nowadays. We can set various programs in that, which can be done by NFC tool application. Using this we can perform things such as Contact save, Link Share, Tangles add, etc. For example, if you need to activate the WiFi hotspot, simply program in the sticker and just place the phone above your modem to make it activated.

Each NFC system that is active will operate in one or more of three modes:

· Emulation of NFC Cards

o Enables NFC-enabled devices such as smartphones to function as smart cards, enabling users to conduct payment or ticketing transactions.

· Reader/writer NFC

o Enables NFC-enabled devices to read the information contained in labels or smart posters on cheap NFC tags.

· The peer-to-peer NFC

o Enables two NFC-enabled devices to connect with each other in an ad hoc manner to share information.
