Posted on 10 Oct 2022First Aid and Safety Training (FAST) Course designed by Indian Institute of Emergency Medical Services (IIEMS) is like a real-life Simulation Course to help educate anyone to respond to an emergency situation involving a human victim who is in need of emergency medical care and attention before a professionally trained Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or a Healthcare Provider (HCP) is called to the site. This course is available in all IIEMS Centres of South India(Kerala) at Kottayam, Kochi and Trivandrum.
How Is Our Training Going To Help You?
After completion of the Corporate First Aid Training, Participants will be able to understand and use their skills to;
- Develop the skills necessary for rapid assessment and resuscitation
- Perform methods patient packaging and transport
- Give a First Aid in conditions like; Seizure/ Cuts & Wounds/Bleeding/ Sprains & Strains/ Burns/ Snake bite/Insect bite/ Poisoning/ Cardiac Arrest
- Manage all medical emergencies
- Manage injury emergencies (Fracture/ Drowning)
- Perform CPR
- Recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants, children and adults
- Treatment of sudden illnesses, heat and cold emergencies
- Minimize the effects of shock
- Recognize emergencies and take action
- Understand the role of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in the Cardiac Chain of Survival
