Posted on 12 Jul 2024Kuriakose Elias Boarding at Kuriakose Elias English Medium School in Mannanam, Kottayam, is a "Home away from Home" for its students, under the care of the CMI Fathers of St. Joseph’s Province, Thiruvananthapuram. Committed to holistic development, the boarding nurtures students to be intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, and socially acceptable. The campus hosts four boarding houses: K.E Boarding House for Boys, established in 2000, accommodating boys from Class V to XII, and K.E Hostel for Girls, established in 2012, for higher secondary girls. The dormitories, which accommodate 600 students, are equipped with handrails, restricted entry passages, elevators, CCTV surveillance, fire systems, lightning guards, and floor-wise monitoring. Located near several multi-specialty hospitals, with Kottayam Medical College being the closest, the hostel also benefits from periodic visits by a doctor to ensure the well-being of the students.
