Posted On May 20, 2024കേരളം ഇപ്പോൾ കനത്ത മഴയെ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പ് (ഐഎംഡി) നിരവധി ജില്ലകളിൽ റെഡ് അലർട്ട് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു. പത്തനംതിട്ട, ആലപ്പുഴ, കോട്ടയം, ഇടുക്കി എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച വരെ റെഡ് അലർട്ട് പ്രാബല്യത്തിൽ ഉണ്ട്, ഈ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ അതിശക്തമായ മഴ 204.4 മില്ലീമീറ്ററിൽ കവിയാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്, കൂടാതെ തിരുവനന്തപുരം, കൊല്ലം, എറണാകുളം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഓറഞ്ച് അലർട്ടും പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 115.6 മുതൽ 204.4 മില്ലിമീറ്റർ വരെ.

Kerala is currently facing heavy rainfall, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue a red alert for several districts.
